After being sent away to wilderness reform school for punching her mom's boyfriend, Julie returns home to Santa Mira when her best friend, Peyton Fairchild, the town's reigning Miss Coral Queen, washes ashore at Founders Cove.

Julie returns to Santa Mira to discover her mom has lost their home and moved into the carriage house at the legendary Danforth Manor of All Horrors. Even stranger, she’s now guardian to Ethan, son of iconic horror director Levi Danforth.

Julie and Molly arrive at the iconic Danforth Manor of Horrors in Santa Mira, CA. The legendary horror director Levi Danforth turned the historic property into his Gothic abode, and now his teenage son is the Lawson women's landlord.

Tessa takes Julie into Danforth Manor to officially meet horror movie director scion Ethan Danforth. But soon they're locked in the Gothic Study and must navigate a secret corridor.
